Liam Riedel, the "Raving Wulf", is an Eyak Athabascan formline artist born and raised in the Native Village of Eyak. His Alaska Native heritage is passed down through his mother, Monica Riedel. Liam’s maternal Eyak grandfather is Ray Clock, son of Alice Clock, from Peak Island in PWS. His material grandmother Regina Clock, child of Lizzy and George Semaken, is Iñupiaq and Athabascan from Kaltag, Alaska. Focusing on formline, seeking to capture the supernatural energies of our surroundings in abstracts both bizarre and beautiful.
